Using the app
If you use OpenHectare, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. Verdus Labs, Inc. runs it.
What it is
OpenHectare answers farm questions and cites a source when it can. If it cannot, it says so.
It is not an agronomist, vet, or lawyer. You decide what to do on your farm. If you follow an answer and something goes wrong, that is on you.
Your data
Your chats and farm details are yours. Other farmers cannot see them. We keep them so the app works. We do not sell them.
Your account
Keep your login to yourself. You can delete a chat anytime. On Android, delete your account in Settings. On web or iOS, email info@openhectare.org. We can close an account if you abuse the service.
Do not
- Use it for anything illegal
- Try to break or scrape it
- Try to read another farmer's data
It might go down
We try to keep it running. Sometimes it will not. Features can change.
If something goes wrong
If you did not pay us, we do not owe you money. Delaware law applies.
If we change this
We will email you or put a note in the app at least 30 days ahead. Using the app after that means you accept the new terms.
